Goodbye to 2010

Well another year is ending, and a successful foray into the world of Play Sport London and Council grant funded sessions. FHS ran three courses over the last half of the year, one designed to give non-club swimmers a taste of what swimming in a competitive club is all about, one for girls aged 10-12 and one mixed session for technique and stroke improvement.

I am confident that the sessions were enjoyed by all as the participants kept coming back for more :)

Unfortunately, the last session of the year was unavoidably cancelled due to the snow. I did manage to make it to the pool, in case any swimmers decided to brave the snow - but the pool was locked up anyway.

We are planning more sessions - subject to the agreement of William Byrd pool and Uxbridge Council.
